2019 – An Exciting Year Ahead for all SA Athletic FC Players and Families!
We would first and foremost like to thank all of our players, our families, coaching staff, partners and all of our volunteers for a successful 2018 inaugural fall season. We were excited to announce our new soccer organization into the San Antonio community in the fall of 2018 and now we continue our exciting journey ahead for our new upcoming season and into this 2019 New Year. We thank all of our families as we are joined together by our mission and that is to share a love for soccer by demonstrating excellence and to provide the best experience for each of our families and players. We strive to promote education, awareness to health and well-being, professional training, athletic progression and leadership growth for every youth player so they may maximize their greatest potential on and off the field.
In the beginning of our story, our club was founded by former professional soccer players to motivate youth and to provide youth soccer players the best opportunity in San Antonio to develop and learn the game from former pro players and top licensed coaches. Our professional coaching staff is committed to help shape, develop and motivate every young player as we model, live and grow our club’s mission. In regards to our player development, we continue to have some of the best and most experienced coaches in the San Antonio community. Our coaches experienced years of successful professional careers playing in different countries and know what it takes to get to the next level of the game. They share their unique experiences and are committed to guide, model and mentor aspiring players and help the next generation of players achieve their dreams.
SA Athletic FC is determined to help community programs and continue our efforts to share our mission, vision and to build a stronger San Antonio community together. One of the things that sets SA Athletic FC apart and makes us a unique soccer club is our commitment and dedication to making a positive difference for all children and help make positive differences in the lives of others outside of the SA Athletic FC family. In the last few months, we made great steps by partnering, helping and working with a variety of other local organizations and programs. Our SA Athletic FC staff, coaches, families and volunteers helped take action in volunteering as well as donating toys, clothes and food for kids in local foster care programs, Central American immigrant children refugees, and volunteering to help with a Thanksgiving food drive for low-income families and neighborhoods in San Antonio. We also provided motivational speaking events with our former professional pro-athletes within the public schools and the Alamo colleges. We always encourage every player and every family to be a part of our community outreach programs and events so every member can be more involved and sincerely understand community stewardship as we aspire to be part of something bigger than ourselves. SA Athletic FC will continue to work with a variety of local and national organizations as we continue to take action in creating positive impact, and positive experiences for the community as well as within participating organizations that help children in every way.
